So following Marks "rules" . Thats what Paul knows.

Now, is there any point of reference that ties these two men (Sarbcher and Kitslman) to Menzies?
Here's a case where the wrong information really can be dangerous.

The individual Victoria is referring to -- the one I mentioned in Las Vegas (a DVD! My kingdom for the DVD!) -- is Donald Menzel. Get started on Menzel here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Menzel

Curiously, the name Victoria actually used, "Menzies," comes up in another, not-entirely-unrelated context. There was a British intelligence officer named Stewart Menzies (pronounced "Mingis") who no doubt crossed paths with our Stephenson. Note in this bio:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stewart_Menzies

...that Menzies was gassed during WWI, as was our friend "Intrepid." Don't know if it was the same attack, but at the very least they had that -- and secret intel ops -- in common.

Menzel is certainly some body we need to get to know, as is Sarbacher. All that stuff is coming quickly down the chute...

Now if I just had a damn DVD... grrrrr....

As for the rest of Victoria's message.... interesting premise. That the whole "UFO" disinformation campaign of the 50s was an offshoot of the Townsend Brown disinformation campaign (after "Pearl Harbor." See the presentation... oh, right... it's not available yet.... grrrr and grrrr.....) is something to think about. About equally plausible and implausible.

Just how far down does this rabbit hole go?

I want everyone here to notice how some things can develop with this "forum" that certainly have no worldly explanation.

Victoria was searching for the name that Paul had mentioned as being a possible Caroline member. The proper name was Menzel, Donald Menzel.

BUT INSTEAD her mind researched its memory banks and came up with "Menzies" instead. Now. Was this a subconcious mistake? Or was this just one more strange coincidence ?.... that was not a coincidence?

So lets all remember both names and look again when we get a chance at the fellow named Menzies, because, well, it was just a little piece of bread on the forest floor and Victoria picked it up. Elizabeth

Following Menzies then

Paul,

In your Vegas lecture you made a sort of amazing claim that the "Pearl Harbor demonstration" given by Dr. Brown in the 1950s was somehow compromised by a "mole" . And you came right out and mentioned Philby.
Actually you didn't exactly mention his name right away. You flashed a picture of the man and asked if anyone in the crowd recognized him. Most of the room was quiet except one man sitting in the middle of the group. I heard a strong voice say, very clearly "Its Philby" For those of you who don't know much about the man, he was considered a consumate "spy master, working for the Soviet and his "ring" was able to infiltrate into the highest levels of security here in the United States.

So I know that I am jumping the gun here a little because your storyline Paul is departing from the 1942 station but I wanted to remind everyone what sort of a world it was then. If we are to understand why Dr. Brown did some things we need to understand the atmosphere around him and Victorias "slip" of names, I don't believe was actually that. So. Anyone up to collecting solid data on Menzies .... and spies ... the OSS and the early CIA.. and how all of that might have affected Townsend Brown? Elizabeth

when did you meet?

I just wondered how it came about that Mr. Twigsnapper joined your effort here?

Did you contact him to ask for help with the information on the life of Townsend Brown?.

Did Morgan or Linda tell you about him and then you took it from there, or did he just contact you?

Can you tell us a little about that first meeting? Maybe?

I have been trying to figure Mr. Twigsnappers much later role in the work that Dr. Brown was doingI. ts pretty obvious that he has had a close , if not constant relationship with the Brown family from that experience in 1945. So how much did Linda know about this "military escort for her Dad.

Morgan introduced me to a gentleman code named "Boston" in the early summer of 2004, a few months after Morgan himself had shown up.

Except for one f2f meeting (at which no "business" was discussed), all of my contact with "Boston" has been via e-mail.

"Boston" shows up in this space as "Twigsnapper," and in the book as "O'Riley."

'Zat answer yer question?

Not at all. It was like meeting an old friend for the first time. And he certainly doesn't seem threatening in person. I did scan the room for magazines, though....

another question. several maybe. you answered what it was like the moment that you actually met Mr. Twigsnapper and for me, I don't know how long you were into this project when that meeting took place but you had to admit .... you had a great introduction to the man. Linda and Morgan too I would assume and I get the impression that he considers them family......... sooooo it would make sense that he would greet you that way ....... but thats not really my question. before the actual face to face ...... were you nervous.

If this Group continues to be "multigenerational" which I am getting the strong hint that it has been ( and maybe always will be) and a younger person wanted to join it, do you have to wait for it to come to you. I mean there is no office door to go rapping on where you could hand in a resume. Then if you want to join up for life do you just express that and then wait,

do you have to be sponsored in ..... do you go through an apprenticeship ... just looking backwards ... seems thats the way that they work. so ..... yeah .... just how nervous were you .... before the face to face ......

Original founder of NICAP

The fact is that Thomas Townsend Brown was one of the original founders of NICAP, and here is a list of cases dating back to the founding of NICAP.
The fact is that Dr. Brown's presence in Magic (MAJIC) magestic, or any other intonation can only be considered if the stampings on those NICAP documents are real.

Can these NICAP documents be verified?
