Re: How do we order the book?
Unfortunately.... not.
Odd tale here. Everything is done. The book is designed and laid out and essentially ready to go. I was literally minutes from pressing the 'Publish' button at Ingram Spark (the site / business that does all the on-demand printing) when I got a message from the designer (in Pakistan, as it were, via Fiverr.com), saying he'd found an issue with the Index.
It has all been in abeyance ever since, almost a week now.
From there it's a long (well, a week long) tale of incompatible files and underlying links and formatting etc. that got lost in the translation. All I could say to the guy is "well, it's been twenty years, another week isn't gonna hurt." A message from him last night said "in the next 24 hours."
As I'm typing all this it dawns on me that I might be going about this wrong, that at the very least I could get some kind of 'coming soon' listing at Amazon, so I think I'll explore that this afternoon. I also need to figure out how to completely remove the old "Defying Gravity" manuscript from the listings, but I suspect some version(s) of it will still be floating around.
So that's the news, I'll keep you posted.

Making heavy use of the "find in text" option, eh?
On another topic, I saved a draft of a post, and can't figure out hos to retrieve it. What simple and obvious step am I missing?

Re: How do we order the book?
Exactly. I must have gone through the entire file 300 times over two days.
And now the guy is telling me he's at the hospital with his sick uncle. He was supposed to get back to it last night.
I've died and gone to 'the index is fucked up' hell.

thank you apparently, the draft did not save.
Re: How do we order the book?
Well done Paul! I just warmed up my Amazon account and bought it on Kindle and I'm reading it right now.
You finally got it over the line. And that's what counts.
Best regards, Nate
