Hi I'm Phil

Post by Phil Young »

Hi,
I have been working for the family of A.L. 'Beau' Kitselman to bring all his written and audio work back into availability. Brown and Kitselman were best friends. So I have both a general and specific interest in Brown and his work. There is an archive of Kitselmans's scientific work that has yet to be made publicly bavailable, some of that may be relevant to the T.T. Brown story.

Hello, Phil, thanks for checking in.

I am glad to hear you're working on preserving the Kitselman stuff. I don't know a whole lot about the guy, other than what I learned re: his relationship with Brown. Most of it is... how shall we say... redacted.

Where are you in the UK?

I'm a bit of an Anglophile; I'm drawn to the medieval ruins of the UK and have made several pilgrimages to photograph them :

I haven't made any actual plans yet, but I am putting it out in the universe to spend about month in the UK this summer: from roughly 6/15-15. Bookending the itinerary with Solstice at Stonehenge on one end and the British Grand Prix on the other...

Thanks again for chiming in,

Hi Paul,
I am based in Glastonbury. The ancient Isle of Avalon with all its links to the King Arthur stories. I am sure Glastonbury abbey is on the your list of places to visit and, of course, the Tor plus Avebury with its standing stones, the Kennet long barrow and Silbury hill, far more impressive than Stonehenge.

Some great photos in your collection but oddly your links don't work they are in https, they do work in http:

Look me up if you are in the area next summer.

Yay Glastonbury! And yay Kitselman!

I am not making this up: *Literally today* I was thinking "man I wish someone from the Kitselman family was available", because I was trying to find Hello Stupid - there was a website hellostupid.org once, which the Wayback Machine can find, but the "full version" on it was written using Flash (sigh) and so even with the Internet Archive I think it's no longer viewable.

Here's what it was like in 2013: https://web.archive.org/web/20130609211 ... llostupid/

The reason why I wanted to find Hello Stupid is I've created a Townsend Brown subreddit at http://reddit.com/r/TownsendBrown , which i've been dumping somewhat relevant links into as fast as I can remember them. (So I have somewhere I can be excitable and distracted and go off on tangents and not overload our host Paul too much.)

Four of us now! This is exciting! As a man once said, "first, we build a fire..."

Regards, Nate

Hi Nate,
I republished Hello Stupid in 2017. Just look on Amazon.com. Also you might want to check out the whole project at https://www.kitselman.com/
I just had a quick look at your subreddit I was surprised to see the cosmic token forum back and my password worked.
It is great that Paul has re-activated this project.
