If any of you have seen the film "what the bleep do we know" you will note that all of our emotions are controlled by neuro peptides rushing through different areas of the brain. It is most difficult to get over the ego, the need for recognition, and the desire to be accepted because of these emotions and their incurence into every day issues.I cannot possibly mess with time because I fear the paradox of it all will cause me to be in error and I will be caught chasing my own tail of woe.(that is the crust I'm speaking of)"
I was watching the movie SPHERE this afternoon. There was a scene near the end where there was three crew members left who had obtained the power to manifest ANY KIND OF REALITY by simply thinking about it. In the end they manifested the need to simply FORGET that they had the power to do so. They did that because they discovered that they were unable to control this power which had become destructive too easilly.
This is how I feel about the power to mess with time. The point being that IF I DO have this power, I would rather NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT MYSELF.
If I try to discover the means by which to mess with time, then it is likely that once I find out exactly how it is done, I will have crossed over into an area that I'm not ready to deal with emotionally, and thus I will be creating problems in my own timeline.
Ideally, it would be better to let someone else use it who does not understand how it actually works. As far as my job is concerned I have accomplished my task and would rather let the next person carry on.
Mind you... this is a very strong gut feeling, and since I am still in the "past" portion of the discovery timeline, once I transpose into the "future" portion of the discovery timeline, I will not have the burden of trying to change the past, -so that I can sucessfully change the future, -so that I can eventually discover how to change the timeline. (this is the famous Godel strange loop)
See.... the more you think about this the harder it becomes to try and make sense out of it because a crust is forming between the timeline when the "knowledge to mess with time" existed, and the timeline where the "knowledge to mess with time" did not exist. Let's call it the "coverging timeline paradox".
Here is the kicker: Perhaps I know how to do it without actually being aware of it. This would fit Paul's theory that there are unknowns that we don't know that we know. Either way, I don't seem to be too concerned about it because I'm trying to forget about long term future consequences so that I can concentrate on the immediate task at hand.
Is this making more sense now?
You're turn now....
What are you trying to say here:
Isn't there a word missing here?judge them by what they do not what they appear to be to others
