Re: NOTEPAD for RANDOM IDEAS

"A boosted up hobbit? You certain about this?" Oh! This I gotta see! Last time one of these things was on the loose ... was Vegas Raymond! Remember? Of course I am sure it was coincidence. Odd though, that power blackout on stage for a certain speaker. She said it had never happened to her...

Re: Making this work and other questions.

Mikado, In my case my edits are usually correcting my " creative spelling!" but if its more than that I generally try to remember to just put the word edit in there somewhere to call attention to the attention xxxxxthis will show as an edit! xxxx attention ... or deletion. If it worries yo...

Re: Gravity and Spin

Apollonius, I thought that I recognized your name! Welcome back. All that good welcome wagon stuff that I suppose I have become known for here on the forum! How nice that you took the effort to find your password and log in again. So what do you think so far? Have you been able to read the book Paul...

Re: THINKING OUTSIDE of the BOX

A message for Paul from kevin, though kevin might not have meant it as such <g> "We have adopted a lovely old Warwickshir gentleman in our shop, he writes the history of local villages etc. He KNOWS he doesn't KNOW all the facts correctly, but if he puts in his books the wrong things, a herd of...

Re: THINKING OUTSIDE of the BOX

I am not an expert in Ancient History ... maybe even especially South American History but I have picked up a few pieces of lore which may or may not be scholastically correct. So I as you all out there who are real students of this stuff to double check my statements here and correct me when I need...

Re: going with the Flow

Sounds like that might be a really good idea. I would not be shocked though if you started out to build one thing and it sort of decides to go in another direction (if you leave yourself open to wild and offbeat inspirations.) Sort of like a fine painting. The artist might THINK he has designed a ce...

Re: PETROVOLTAICS - Electricity from Rocks

Anybody out there actually know the answer to AM2s question here? If your results are not classified or commercially protected would you please share some of that information with us? My hunch is that very few people have even thought to set that experiment up. So thats a wonderful question to pursu...

Re: clock tower

Some of you may not have heard but the stage street where " Dr. Brown" recharged his " Flux Capacitor"( by channeling a lightning bolt from a strike on the clock tower) .... has burned down. So the clock tower is no more.

But the Flux Capacitor, of course, goes on! Elizabeth

Re: NOTEPAD for RANDOM IDEAS

No wonder we have all been saying we want a ticket to ride. Up and down the "Avenue of Time." I love the thought. With our own special EXPRESS. I wonder if you can get off anywhere, visit as long as you want and still be able to get home in time for dinner after only being gone an hour or ...

Re: NOTEPAD for RANDOM IDEAS

AM, Yes .... there is a hole there "big enough to drive a truck through" You said: I"f the FTM is something that has yet to be built then the Cutlass sticks out as a sore thumb. Why would it then be important to tell the story of this submarine and the events of 1966? The only explana...

Re: NOTEPAD for RANDOM IDEAS

There might be a difference in the effects caused by a FTM coming back to interact with our time frame now? Or one that was perhaps developed in our past? Being used now ? Or something entirely different that we haven't even considered yet? While Mikado is thinking over his answer on why he is so su...

Re: cats in the desert

And sometimes its all just a distraction from what could be fine focus. There are certainly some harsh realities to something someone said once of philosophers. " A philosopher is someone who does not have a day job" Thats very harsh. But sometimes this endless looking into bits and partic...

Re: mysterious cave

Rose, Your posts are extremely interesting. And you seem to be familiar with the 29 Palms, Joshua Tree area. I have heard about an area near Twenty-nine that was of great interest to Philo Farnsworth at one time. I understand that he spent quite a bit of time scouting the area for a place where he c...

ROBOTS AND CONCIOUSNESS

Those of you who know me or who have kept up with the forum know also that I have a decidedly different way of collecting information. I want to take you with me for a moment on one of my information gathering hunts, just to show you how wierd this can be. Some would say that my process is random . ...
