Edited? No I don't think so.
Alas, I never had the priviledge of meeting the man.

Yikes ! After reading this thread, I might put forth the suggestion that perhaps what Dr. Jordan is contemplating is that what we see ain't necessarily what we get. Assuming there are alternate dimensions, etc. someone/thing capable of travelling between them may or may not appear as we might expect...

Hi All, Sorry not to come in sooner, but I've been away today. I had posted something earlier (way earlier) in the forum regarding the remaining books of Brown's set of journals. I will confirm what Elizabeth said that they are in the Brown family archives. I was very satisfied to get the copies of ...

Time travel. If Morgan were to go back and save his sister, then perhaps he would not have left home and ended up where he was at the time he was having the conversation with Mr. Brown. Or is time more like a self-correcting river - if I throw a rock into the water, will the ripples continually exis...

My only comment is that I suspect that we will never know anything about the best intelligence agents. If I may horribly paraphrase one of Elizabeth's favorite sayings...We often hear about master art or jewelry counterfeiters getting caught, and then people exclaim what masters they are, etc., but ...

It's interesting how communications seems to wind in and out of Brown's life beginning with his early transmitter experiments as a child and in college. Then Morgan comes into the picture and becomes interested in Brown's work on the electrostatic speakers. Also, the sensors, the receiver / transmit...

So many questions...I can answer a few perhaps. I remember that book. Alex called me a couple of times asking about Brown's work in France, I think. I don't think I was all that helpful since I really don't know much about his time over there. I thought Alex was going to send me a copy, but I don't ...

Victoria !! I was telling Elizabeth earlier today a story about me and a friend when we were children (well, old enough to know better). There was a PVC drain down on the hill behind his house, and every summer a nest of yellow jackets would take up residence there. So we would take one of those big...

Grinder - Sure, here is a link to Allen(de)'s original seaman certificate scan. I made an error, though, his birthday is May 31, 1925, but the certificate is dated August 20, 1943 (the certificate is a bit faded and creased - my apologies). http://www.qualight.com/general/seaman.jpg I have several l...

Mr. Carl(os) Allen(de)
It's kind of interesting how Brown's name has been carried through the century. Complete silence, then up pops Carlos Allende. Now, I have here in front of me Carlos Allende's original Seaman's Certificate of Identification dated May 31, 1925 out of the port of New York, N.Y. In any case, Allende wr...
