Chapter 66 is Now Online

Chapter 66: Hot Town, Summer in the City deals mostly with the development of Townsend Brown’s "electro-kinetic loudspeaker," the speaker with no moving parts that Morgan was shown a prototype of when he first met Dr. Brown at Ashlawn three years earlier.

The electro-kinetic loudspeaker is essentially a variation of the technology that drives "Ionic Breeze" air purifiers.  It is interesting to note that, while the air purifiers have become a virtually ubiquitous household product, the loudspeaker product was never developed beyond the prototypes built at the Martin Decker compound in Philadelphia in 1966, as this chapter details.
