Re: Townsend Brown on Free Energy - 1984
Wise words, and ones that I wish many more writers in the alternative-energy sector had listened to. There is so much material published from the 1970s through to today in counter-cultural magazines that is just wrong on a fundamental level with not even basic fact-checking applied. Often, just stuff shoved together both true and false, and it seems that the editors have little interest in its truth-value, just whether it sells.Any publication for profit of unsupported concepts at this time at least, might be considered tantamount to fraud. I urge that you be especially guarded in this respect.
Both David Hatcher Childress' "Adventures Unlimited" and Duncan Roads' "Nexus Magazine" come to mind. Been there, read some of those, got the psychic scars to show for it.
