What Mr. Twigsnapper said

Post by Victoria Steele »

Here is a new area where we can discuss what Mr. Twigsnapper has already said to us. I have just come to the realization that I may not have totally understood what he has been trying to say to us, maybe because I wasn't ready for the information yet, maybe because I was just being characteristically dense. In any case. I think that the man was here to help us see stuff. Maybe too if we get into a good enough discussion maybe he will join us again! I think what I will do is just take his posts one by one. Join me guys. No telling what we missed! Victoria

partner?

Post by Victoria Steele »

Notice what Mr. Twigsnapper said here in regard to the "group" Dr. Brown was working with.

"From my personal experience with the man no matter what he was up against, who he might have been nose to nose with, (and there were some interesting and dangerous characters in that group) let me assure you that NONE of those moves and NOT ONE of his actions could be translated as "running" from danger.

A few times he took his family out of a dangerzone. Paul will talk about Hawaii and Nassau and a few other places. A few times he had armed individuals traveling with him and living under his roof. But every movement he made was his own choosing. And as powerful as the Group was that worked along with him it was a PARTNER, not a "boss". Just a thought to help you understand the man. Twigsnapper "

OK.... so what do we have?

Dr. Brown was a very intelligent and creative scientific mind in possession of a unique communication system who was aligned with a powerfull intelligence specialist and his network. (The Intrepid).

Dr. Brown was partners with an international group of powerful interests who's desires were to help defeat Hiltler's quest to conquer the world.

Very few persons on Earth were aware of any of this and Dr. Brown's efforts were so valuable that the group provided him and his familly with armed escorts (like secret service).

Mr. Twigsnapper is himself an extremely intelligent person with an enormous amount of scientific knowledge (as evaluated from our short exchanges). He is also a fierce warrior with hand to hand combat experience, and a keen sense of knowledge about espionnage and covert operations.(again, like secret service)

Gee I don't know but this has the makings of a motion picture plot if you ask me.

Isn't there any hollywood production firms out there paying attention to this?

We haven't even begun talking about Flying saucers propulsion systems yet.

Mr. Twigsnapper where are thee?

Post by Mikado14 »

Mr. Twigsnapper,

Your mission is fulfilled? Already?

You are checking in and you will be seeing this.

What little I have read of your posts, I have tried to look into your face and see your eyes and to look deep into your soul. The role of teacher suits you for that is what you have been doing here, teaching to look, to question and to search for truth.

You said many nice accollades to some individuals in your last post. It is now my turn. No matter what you have done in your past, you have done it with valor and a sense of rightousness for what is morally correct. The level of loyalty and admiration that you have for Dr. Brown, he must have been an extraordinary man to have commanded that from you. I have the feeling that it started with that little girl. But for those things that haunt you, at the time, you did what had to be done. Sir, I believe you to be an extraordinary man yourself.

A promise to you...I believe for some extraordinary reason that you have an idea where I am headed with what I am doing........I won't give up.

I hope that all is done to your satisfaction and I, and am sure the rest of the forum, await the day you do return.

Mikado

PS: It is customary for the teacher to at least stay in contact from time to time, I hope you are well for the moment and someday, we will play chess....Peace

great teachers

Post by Elizabeth Helen Drake »

Great teachers seem to know ahead of time what their students are capable of doing. I found this message he sent quite awhile ago. I thought you all would appreciate it. found here viewtopic.php?p=1510#1510

"I invite you and your readers Paul to look through a looking glass. Was it Alice who made the observation? "Its a great game of chess thats being played, ALL OVER THE WORLD, IF THIS IS THE WORLD." Ah, right now Paul wishes he was back on that beach with those blue waters within sight. Do you remember those words Paul?

Go to Bletchley with me then and see if you see some similarities.

There had been a grand call put out though it wasn't the kind of call that could be broadcast in the newspapers. WANTED, BRIGHT, ENTHUSIASTIC, IDEALISTIC, BRAVE, WILLING TO GIVE UP NORMAL LIFESTYLES FOR .... AN UNEXPLAINED GREATER FUTURE GOOD. (and there was the direct understanding that all that had to be done without a whole understanding of EVERYTHING that was happening under that roof. One hut did not know what the other hut was doing. And further, they trusted in the fact that it was better that they not know .... that the situation that they were asked to live in was a reflection of the times where at every turn there were dangers to security ... it indeed was a great game ... but a wholly serious one ... and the people at Bletchly signed on without really ever knowing the whole of it. You would think that it would hurt their feelings being left in the dark. Those that took that line, where they needed to know more to go further usually found themselves suddenly wondering why they were outside those gates. But the best of them, as you are Paul, the best and the brightest stayed the game. Look up some of those names someday ...

Hummmm . Makes a person wonder if such a call went out today . If there would be any takers? But back to Bletchley.

However they were brought "under one roof" you have to understand that however big the roof was, most there did not know what the other did. You could be living with a chap you had known for years and if his WORK was in another hut .... you just didn't ask. I mean that seriously. You just understood that there were things going on that for security reasons you were just not to know. and Paul you can see from the way that Linda was raised that even in her own family she grew up with that idea. There were some things that you just didn't ask. For her it simply boiled down to ... Do I have faith in my father and whatever it is that he was doing? And her answer was a lifelong and still existing ,YES.

And it was an odd assortment. those people called to Bletchley and her other counterparts. Perhaps never matched in human history. Gentlemen and Ladies went out from Bletchley to continue with fascinating lives. Some were professors of the classics, some went in the pursuit of war criminals, some into government .... but they all were touched by BP.

(You sons and daughters out there reading this and you all know who you are. Responding or not.) I rather wish that you will step forward because even the smallest remembrance passed on to you could be an enormous stepping stone over some very deep water for our man Paul here. Personally thanking you , ahead of time. Thats a phrase, by the way, that Townsend Brown used to use and I have noted also that his daughter uses it sometimes without realizing that she got that from her Dad, but its a good thing, to thank someone ahead of time.)

For those of you I encourage you to look into the history of Bletchley because the way it came together, the "glue" that held those strangers together is actually what Paul is writing about and maybe he hasn't just seen that yet and your extra input would help. Twigsnapper "

little girl in pink

Post by grinder »

Mikado,

You mentioned Mr. Twigsnappers "little girl in pink" so I thought I would find that message for those who are new to this forum. Talk about a movie scene.

viewtopic.php?p=1578#1578

"Paul, forgive me here if I trespass on your future material. But this is a response that needs to be made. (sort of a tit for tat with the rolled mag bit)

Trickfox. You asked Why must everyone "on the other end of things" continue to suffer?

An age old question, with no obvious answers. You are not alone in asking it. Indulge me this short story. (Paul, feel free to erase this if you do not want it standing or if it crosses your work seriously)

Dr. Brown and I had been following a muddy road after cutting through some fields in our jeep. Ahead of us was a large group of displaced persons. They were cold and wet and hungry and they had nowhere to go and there was not a whole lot he or I could do about their situation except maybe hope that they would be overtaken by the Americans before the Russians ran into them. We had stopped to look for a moment at this parade of sad humanity. For reasons that Paul may be able to explain later we were determined not to involve ourselves either in fighting or in rescue, besides there was little we could do to help the mass that was trudging down the road. That actually didn't concern me, I was thinking of other things... ... then suddenly I caught sight of some pink fabric showing through the mud. I went to investigate and found about a three year old little girl ... her body just cast aside.

The hopelessness of it and the loss hit me like a sledgehammer and I sank down into the muck and sobbed like an idiot. I can not tell you Dr. Browns words right now. . because they are Pauls to write if he chooses to ... if you find this scene in Pauls book pay attention to what Dr. Brown said to me then. It applies here with you and your friend .

I agree with you entirely that this communication system does not SEEM to work two ways. Have you asked yourself ...... why that might be?

You can not change reality until you understand what it actually is. First things first. One step at a time. I have more to mention about your "expanding bubbles of reality" but for now, lets leave it at this comment.

Thankyou Trickfox for the time that you have spent. I know that it was difficult. Twigsnapper "

daughters love of horses

Post by Mark Culpepper »

Now this is a subject that I can understand and believe me, I was taking notes when it came to horses and a daughters love for them. Look what Dr. Brown did, according to Mr. Twigsnapper. How many busy fathers would have done that? You all keep saying that Mr. Twigsnapper obviously admired Dr. Brown, heres one reason, I think. Mark C

"Paul,

I thought you might be interested in a little remembrance about Townsend Brown. I fear sometimes that people will get the impression that he was selfishly thinking only of his work while working in his lab. But I can assure you that much of the time he had his family very much on his mind.

In the mid fifties I was honored to be Dr. Browns escort while he visited England and France. At one point during a break in his work he asked me what I knew about horses. It was not the type of question I expected from him for some reason but he explained that his daughter was "horse crazy" and it was important for him to learn as much as he could about them "As quickly and as thoroughly as possible".

Dr. Brown had meetings just outside Cheltenham so I figured it would be a good start to go to the course. I had some buddys there and knew we could get into the barns for this lesson he was expecting from me. I did not expect that he would insist on getting up at four in the morning so that he could watch the morning works ... watch the way the horses were cooled off and bedded down ... He talked to the stableboys, the jockeys, asked me many many questions in rapid fire ...... Later we watched the running of the Gold Cup ... he made a remark that it was too bad that the track seemed so hard .... that it must be terrible on the horses legs ... a very astute observation considering that course had a very bad reputation for breaking horses down. I think he bet on the winning horse .... and then he went back to the work at hand and thanked me very much. I wondered after that how many busy fathers would have taken the day like that to "cram" on information so that he could keep up with a "horse crazy daughter..... when I read that he encouraged her to go to Southern Seminary so that she could ride ... I thought of that day. Twigsnapper "

Good Stuff

Post by Paul S. »

Hey guys... I'm coming up for air here... reading through some of these posts is proving quite useful, as it's giving me a view of the landscape that I've been missing while I've hunkered down here in the garret...

It occurs to me that I'm going to have to resume writing this book soon (like starting November 12? Maybe sooner?) and it's good to have references and links like this to remind me where the rich veins of material are lying.

Thanks to you all for keeping the conversation going during my extended absence.

Las Vegas, here we come...

inspiration

Post by Victoria Steele »

What I would like to know is ..... how does this "web" of information seem to work so effortlessly? I know, I know . Some people out there would attribute it to "telepathy" or some other such word. But do they even know what THAT is?

Take , for instance. Cranberry bogs! Now I don't know if others here have picked up on how that flow of information went, so let me just point it out to you. The value of strange here is high folks.

Elizabeth posted a message to grinder, I think, mentioning that it was frustrating to have to "wait for material" . Now, no where in her message did she mention "bogs" though maybe it might have run in her head "bogged down?" Elizabeth?

But notice .... in her caption she wrote CRANBERRY BOGS. Now. Look at the message. Cranberry bogs had really nothing to do with the message. But those words hit me like the proverbial ton of bricks and thats why I responded the way I did ..... "CRANBERRY BOGS???????"

Now here is the strange things folks. That trip to the Cape was a secret known only to my boyfriend and me (well, its public now) but we had taken great pains to keep that trip a total secret from friends family and even my dog!

And we had enjoyed a really spectacular day watching that process I told all of you about. But then here comes Elizabeth mentioning those words straight out of the blue and it was like someone reached over an threw a switch in my mind. Boom.!!!!!!... and that resulted in what I shared with you (and alot of thoughts that I have not shared yet but probably know now that when the time is right I am supposed to share those thoughts too.) Alot to do with things held tight and threshing machines and water and the natural trend for things tied down to rise to the surface. An observation that fits with the information that has been held so long so tight and under so much water. I think I was shown different ways to "shake things loose". But you see, thats me ..... some have to wait, some have to shake.))

So is that all a strange co-incidence? I am thinking not! Just a glimpse into the strangeness of how inspiration actually works. Victoria

to the point

Post by grinder »

I just ran into this and thought that it needed to be posted. This just proves that Mr. Twigsnapper can be as direct as a bullseye, when he wants to be. Look at what he says about Josephine! I don't know why, but I had forgotten about this because its so easy to concentrate on what Dr. Brown was doing!

viewtopic.php?p=2309#2309

Aint this interesting! Fri Sep 08, 2006 4:12 pm Post subject: 48 states

"You are absolutely correct regarding the animosity between Hoover and Stephenson. The BSC was not supposed to hire Americans at all. Of course, that was an impossible restriction and Stephenson knew that right off. Dig around some, (or someone out there jump in and verify this for Paul), . The Americans "hired" carried the numbers 48 in their identification code ..... for forty eight states. There were actually many hundreds of them. Josephine Beale Brown was one of the best. Twigsnapper "

I have this feeling that this gentleman is accustomed to working with exceptionally talented people. For him to say that she was "one of the best" thats pretty high praise! grinder
