Earlier today I posted about the masons and their twin towers looking like something tesla would have built.
I have been struggling all day with electrics, my boiler is having a laugh with me.
All I know is my head is full of capacitors and coils, and you all start talking about capacitors?
We use 240 a/c here in the uk, half of that must be direct?, its only a fraction of TIME that it isn't?

sorry kevin, half of 240 is 120. What you have to include is the frequency which I believe is 50 hz. In one second you will have 50 pulses of 120v above (positive) a ground reference and 50 pulses of 120 v below (negative) a ground reference. Sorry my friend, no DC.

Now, if that isn't what your asking, could you clarify?

PS: the above is actually not correct but I am trying to keep it simple for you must understand that pi is involved which means the 240 is the sine of the curve or 240 divided by .707 or really 340 which gives you 680 peak to peak.

Mikado.... Just how long of an interval is "One second" anyway?
I mean in the big picture of it all is it really 1/60 of an hour and 1/24 th of a day which turns out to be 1/364 th of a year (more or less a few hours).

Uh...Trickfox? .... Are you still in the shower? Don't you mean a sexond..err....second is really 1/60th of a minute and then 1/60th of an hour etc.?

But then maybe that is your point..it is only relevant to the observer or who ...... is it time for the meeting yet?

golly, you are right there Mikado I missed one division....That system simply does not seam to WANT to make sense to me too.

The point is that time only exists at the location it belongs to.

I know we all know this deep in our hearts but Time is just one of those things we can't get a real steady perspective on.

In our case Mikado, someone else makes the decisions because we are all subject to our limitations.

That makes sense. If they were speaking of an umbrella style model, the anode and cathode are so far apart that the AC would hardly see any capacitance. But if it were the gravitator that they were referring to, it would probably explode if connected to AC.

I remember it if it was what I referred to as a modulated carrier signal and you referred to as a drive signal.

When experimenting with TTB umbrella style devices (which I found to be not much different than lifters), I tried various experiments using a Wavetek function generator which provided various waveform shapes within a range of 0-20 MHz. In my experiments, DC produced more lift than AC at any frequency, but pulsed DC (under 100 Hz) produced more lift than straight DC.

But I know there is more to the AC end of things than I have been able to uncover. Obviously, there is a certain magic in beat frequencies or interference patterns. John Hutcheson is an example of that. But unfortunately he doesn’t know how to explain what he did. For him it seems like it was just the perfect accident, stumbled upon while tinkering one day.

OK....Ok.... you guys are getting too technical here.. If you keep heading down this path you will end up bumping into me down here in the hole. You will have to back up a few more times and re-tune your aim a bit because there are a lot of mirrors around here and you will have trouble seeing what is real and what is reflected dimensions and dead ends.

Gregg...if you think sound engineering was a challenge wait till you get into electrohydrodynamics at the atomic stages and you start looking at "The curl of a vector function"

Somehow or another I have allowed myself to follow a wrong path or perhaps not.

I, for some reason, interjected the idea that if you were going to build such a ...... device? .... that wisdom should be sitting at the table as well.

Do you wish a list of individuals to just build it or do you wish a list of names for not only those to build it but those to utilize it ....... wisely and for the benefit of mankind? And if so, would you be kind enough to explain what the definition of "benefiting mankind" would be?

I just reread that question Mikado and I think you might have missed what Mr. Twigsnapper was actually asking. ( easy enough to do I have had similar problems!)
