Re: Looking for an article detailing 'black projects' (B-2 etc)
You must ask yourself this question - Do I wish to be pulled through the aether or do I wish to move myself through the aether? Ponder a bit. Pulled, pushed, tugged or moved by self, if I eat enough lasagna, I will certainly have enough requisite mass. Backpack version, or even woven into clothes a...

Re: The Caroline Group
This bit was also interesting: Source A said that the world is hostile to extraterrestrial disclosure, that's what the US Navy's covert group is finding out. They are trying to find out where the hostility is coming from and whether it can be neutralized and reduced. Guess all that work by Hollywood...

Re: The "real" character of Thomas Townsend Brown
Linda, I think that your Dad realized that in the world of the future that YOU would represent LOVE and Morgan on the otherhand would represent SURVIVAL. Brother, in all respect and deference to your quite insightful statement, I would submit that it is more like a yin/yang where each of the two pe...

Yes, not to get all conspiracy-ey, but awful timing wasn't it just as he was developing that idea, crash.
Not that his literal concept might have vied with the maybe-what-already-exists, but it might have pointed too closely at the what-could-be.

Phenomenal set of exchanges, each of you, thank you.
Looking forward to the book, thanks so much for sending.
Sorry so brief--have to put these kids to bed...

Re: Alan Parsons - Siren Song
Given the recent comments on the Science Of thread, perhaps we can also now propose Pyramania...anyone? Oh, ok, I admit this one is a throwaway, a silly song, but I really liked it when I was, well, about 13. Working at the Book and Comic Shop for trade...

Re: The "real" character of Thomas Townsend Brown
Thank you for that very full response! So many wonderful stories and yet another great perspective on the man himself. The mouth waters at the camp-cooking especially, not to mention the cobbler. Nice also to know about his proclivity to eat outside--which one could almost gather from what's already...

Re: The "real" character of Thomas Townsend Brown
Aha! I stand enlightened. Somehow missed they were even doing a remake of that. On another topic, it occurred to me this evening as I was cooking dinner to ask if TTB ever did any cooking himself, or left that to others? Other than what we know about his favorite snacks (pickled fish; peanut butter)...

Re: A little bit of history
I don't know a thing about ORMS but thank you for raising this fascinating topic in such a thorough fashion. It makes sense that TTB would at least have been exposed to this during his work on various projects--whether or not he helped to develop or refine the approach. Looking forward to the discus...

The sword, which is no sword, cuts no-thing.
What does the rock hear that we don't hear?
When it dances, why don't we dance?
Or do we ignore, somehow, the music which everything but us knows as the essential heartbeat?
